Bibliopoly
Time to change the way we play games. I grew up taking your money in Monopoly or Destroying your opponents troops in Risk. Since created in 1991 one of the most popular Christian board games is Bibleopoly. Bibleopoly promotes the act of cooperation that children should learn early in life. It’s a great game for the whole family. This game takes about a hour to play, 2 to 6 players ages 8 and up.
This game is patterned after monopoly with collecting all of one color group and enjoying the fun of a property trading game while learning about the remarkable cities of the Bible! Start “In the Beginning” BUT the great twist is you can only win by cooperation and helping out your opponents with good deeds or service. The object of the game is to be the first player in a bible city to build your church.
Fluxx
Fluxx card game starts out as just the average card game. Placing the Basic Rules card in the center of the table. Drawing one card and discarding one at a time. Then the game can change quickly with different cards being played, changing the goals and the rules.
This game is for 2 to 6 players from age 8 and up. Fluxx has many different version, and additional card sets that can be purchased to add to the game.
Herd of Horses part 3 of 3

Game three is called Rancher’s Revenge: Your friendly contest turns into a game of knowledge and strategy as you round up horses by their color families (roan, gray, and so on) and markings (stoking, blaze, and so on).
The learning part of game three teaches children about colors, matching of marking of horses and strategic moves. Board games is great family time fun.
Herd of Horses part 2 of 3

Game two is a Rancher’s Roundup, with this adventure you will change your points of view. You are ranchers, and your prized horses have just broken free. You all agree on a friendly contest to see who can round up horses by brand and make it to Green River Valley first.
By playing game two this help children to see the life of a rancher. which is a different look at it then game one. Learning is part of educational games.
Herd of Horses part 1 of 3
Herd of Horses is three games all in one. In each adventure, you will learn all about these beautiful animals while you play:
Game one is Mustang Adventure, where you and your friends play mustangs that have just escaped from a ranch. To survive in the wild, you must gather a herd of mares and foals. Watch out for predators, drought,
human mustangs, and other hazards. This is a really fun and one of the top educational board games that children like to play.
Honing Your Kid’s Multiplication Skills

When your child gets to the point in math class where they have to memorize their times tables, it can be frustrating for many kids. Especially children that like to work through and understand a problem, something like multiplication tables can be difficult to grasp. After all, there’s no fundamental question to understand. It’s just a matter of rote memorization. But without that base of memorization, more complex math becomes laborious and difficult.
Therefore, if you want to help you kid work his or her way through these tables, look for a fun way to help them do their memorization. One way is with the math shark. Although it plays like a video game, it will actually help your kid hone multiplication skills and other basic math skills. Not only will it increase your kid’s speed with these kinds of math problems, it will also help your child’s retention. Kids, after all, simply learn better when they’re having fun, and this is a great way to make those tables stick.
Make Mad Gab Your Next Game for Family Night

If you’ve ever had a family game night, you know how difficult it can be to find a game that everyone enjoys. There are bound to be people that want a word game, while others are interested solely in tactical and strategy games. That’s why it’s a good idea to choose a game that is fast paced, a little frantic, and a lot silly. This way, everyone is sure to get swept up in the fun and forget that they didn’t get to play the game they wanted!
One game that meets all these requirements is Mad Gab. The game is built around the idea that you read short nonsensical sentences that, when read aloud, sound like a well known phrase or saying. One example would be “plea sway tube ease heated,” which is actually “please wait to be seated.” These types of puzzles are known as mondegreens. There are typically two difficult levels, and it’s a simple game that everyone is sure to grasp and enjoy.
Boardgames
A board game is a game in which counters or pieces that are placed on, removed from, or moved across a “board” (a premarked surface usually specific to that game). As do other form of entertainment, board games can represent nearly any subject.
There are many different types and styles of board games, including those, at the most-basic level, that that have no inherent theme-such as Checkers-as well as more-complicated games with definite subjects, or even narratives, such as Clue.
Choosing New Board Games for the Family

If your family has long discarded all your standard board games, maybe it’s time to look into some lesser known versions. After all, we all have the collection of favorites. From Sorry to Monopoly, our closets are filled with these tried and true board games. But after the box has been used so many times that it’s frayed at the edges and precariously held together by duct tape, you might find that your kids simply pass the game over. Looking for a new challenge, you should restock the game closet with some new and interesting games.
But it can feel more than a bit overwhelming shopping for new board games. With so many different options, it’s hard to tell what’s worth purchasing and what’s all flash and gimmick without any substance. If your kids are interested in games that require a bit more strategy and thought, one great benchmark is to see what kind of awards the game has been given. A game like Blokus, for example, has been bestowed with the title of “Game of the Year.” It was also a select winner from MENSA, and it took home the Teacher’s Choice Award. These kinds of accolades are a good sign that it will be challenging as well as fun and addicting.
